EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE

TRANSIT DOCUMENTATION

The transport of goods through the European Union without paying (import) duties falls under the regulations of a transit document. This customs procedure can be divided into External and Internal transit, also known as T1 & T2. The difference is in the customs status of the goods, along with the actual contents of the cargo.

As an international entrepreneur, it can sometimes be difficult for us to import and export products through the various European countries. Even though we are a customs union, it remains difficult to do this without penalty. PF Customs has helped us perfectly with this and that is why we will certainly continue to use this service.

The Transit document (T1/T2) is used to transport goods under customs control to a new destination. We can provide this Transit document for you at our office or directly via email. This can be done from your warehouse, storage at third parties or from a sea/airport in the Netherlands.
After PF Customs has been informed by means of all documents and necessary documents, the Transit document is drawn up and submitted via our specialized system. The T1/T2 will be emailed to the address of your choice. The goods can be collected/continue their way under the guidance of the Transit document.

ABOUT ONE OF OUR SERVICES

T1 AND T2 DOCUMENTS

External Customs Transport:

External transit actually means the transport of non-union goods from one place within the EU to another place within the EU. For example, a container enters Rotterdam from China with non-union goods, but the goods must be transported to a customs warehouse without paying duties, this is possible with a Transit document T1. The T1 can also be used to transport non-union goods to an EFTA country, Turkey, Serbia or Macedonia.

Internal Customs Transport:

Internal transit means that union goods be transported via, for example, an EFTA country, for example transport from the Netherlands to Italy via Switzerland. In this case, in the EFTA country you demonstrate by means of a Transit Document T2 that it concerns union goods for which duties have already been paid.
Another example where a T2 is used is when you export union goods to an EFTA country. In addition to the mandatory export document, a T2 is then drawn up so that the goods can be declared at their destination in the desired country and not necessarily at the external border.
